Berkeley Spens-Black Reunion and Superbowl Party!

Christine's house -- Forest Hill, San Francisco, CA

Christine is my best friend from college(she recently redecorated her house -- see last picture). Stephanie is another best friend who lived in a triple on the same floor(yes, Steph is traveling to Thailand with me -- and yes, everyone thinks we will cause some trouble(more Steph than me)!) We lived in the dorms my freshman year of college at Cal. We laughed all afternoon and caught up with seven other good friends. I had a blast! Oh, and the game was fun as well.

Dave Low, who lived on the second floor, brought an assortment of wines from his Anthill Farms label. Very nice wine! We also drank some Peter Michael L'Apres Midi and Rochioli.

Both Chris and Steph have known me since I was 18. Christine and I had a falling out of sorts following my break-up of my last serious relationship almost 2.5 years ago so we had a lot catching up to do. Time has healed things. I'm glad that we've now sorted things between us and renewed our deep and longstanding friendship. I've missed her as she has been like a sister to me.

• Napa/Yountville, Feb 5: Visit a wine laboratory; Visit the Terraces Winery
• Napa/Yountville, Feb 6-11: The Institite of Masters of Wine 2009 North American Residential Program at the Villagio Inn in Yountville
• San Francisco, Feb 12: Prep for midnight flight to Bangkok via Taipei
• Bangkok, Thailand Feb 14-18: With Stephanie. Temples, floating markets, and street food to begin -- so much and I can't wait! One night at Park Plaza Sukhumvit the rest at Royal Orchid Sheraton Hotel
• Phuket, Thailand Feb 18-23: With Stephanie. Sam has rented a place in Patong Beach
  
• 14 day tour from Bangkok to Hanoi organized by GAP Tours (hiked the Inca trail with this adventure travel group and they were fantastic), Feb 23-March 7
• Hanoi, Vietnam March 8-9
• Bangkok, Thailand March 10
  
• San Francisco, March 10: pickup bags left at Steph's and head to my parent's place
• Bordeaux, March 14-22: Masters of Wine Bordeaux Student Trip generously supported by the Conseil des Grands Crus Classes en 1855 Bordeaux et Medoc
