Sa wat dii from Chiang Mai in Northern Thailand, the Boho city. Took a 13 hour sleeper train from Bangkok, where I met my adventure group. Dropped our bags at the hotel and started my adventures: rode an elephant, took a bamboo raft down the river, and rode an oxen cart this morning! Headed shortly to Doi Suithep, considered the North's most sacred temple. It is a 45 minute car ride and I'll see the Himalayas for the first time! :)
It is noticeably cooler here vs Bangkok.
Lost/Had stolen my atm so have to deal with that tomorrow! Argh. What a headache. So I have limited cash but I'm surprisingly calm... :)
